1.10: soundwave..
08:25I’ve just released Pivot 1.10: Soundwave. It fixes a few small bugs in the 1.10 beta released a short while ago. The major improvements over version 1.0 are:
* conversion tools for Blogger, Movable Type, Greymatter and Nucleus.
* added ‘file mapping’ screen
* added a simple searchbox on the entries screen
* added basic Trackback functionality (thanks to Timo Gnambs)
* significant performance increments over version 1.0

As always, you can get the files from our sourceforge page. Get the full version for new installs, and the updater for currently running Pivots (any 1.0 version should work). To install the update, just upload all the files in the zipfile, overwriting the ones on your server, chmod the folder cd/trackback/ to 777 and you’re done. Yes, you can delete it. The file itself hasn’t changed. I just changed the name to make all the filenames consistent across platforms.

Hi Bob, thank you very much. I have translated your Pivot to Czech. Not complete yet, sorry, about 95% (never ending story). I hope no too much changes in last release – I translated beta. It should be super if all changes in lang files are on the end of file and marked.
Anyway, the first blog without problems with central Europe codepages. Congrats!
Josef: If you’re not sure about what’s new, just send your unfinished file to me, and i can easliy insert the new labels, for you to translate. (and thanks for the compliment

Bug in 1.10: Last Comments list doesn’t show the llast comment, only the ones before that. Mostlikely only a problem in 1.10 updater.
Hmm… I see we did a doublework..:( At http://bbs.cvut.cz/~covex/FILE/pvl_cs.ph.. there is a complete translation of english lang file to czech I did during last week.
I have to say, there are probably sometimes hardcoded texts in Pivot, because some of them can not be translated in pvl lang file. But they are really minor. Otherwise Pivot is really good one.

Does this update fix de 2004 leap day (29februari) problem with the weekly archives? I googled a lot of broken logs… Google: 29 feb pivot

Hey congratulations to Bob and the team on 1.10. I just tried the MT conversion script and it worked like a charm.
Also the instruction pages for installing Piv are really clear. Eventhough I’ve used pivot before, I can easily gear down to complete n00b mode and look at a sentence and think “what the heck does that mean?” But these instructions are amazingly newbie-friendly.
