Sponsor/Donation Program

People donate to Pivot for various reasons. Some of them are listed below:

• a way to say thank you for the countless hours that have been invested in making Pivot what it is today;
• to express their appreciation for the exceptional level of support that is offered by the Pivot community;
• to offer aid to cover the costs associated with commercially hosting the Pivot site;
• an inexpensive way to better their page rank on various search engines.

Of course donations of any amount are always appreciated. We have broken the donations down into 4 levels and state the varying benefits associated with them.

People making donations at the Platinum Sponsor level:

1. feel absolutely fantastic about themselves;
2. have their donation recorded on our special thanks page;
3. receive a personal letter of thanks from the Pivot Team;1)
4. are given the Platinum Sponsor title in the message forum; and
5. have their donation acknowledged by their Platinum Sponsorship being mentioned on the bottom of every page of the support forum and the PDP2).

People making donations at the Gold Sponsor level:

1. feel really great about themselves;
2. have their donation recorded on our special thanks page;
3. receive a personal letter of thanks from the Pivot Team;3) and
4. are given a Gold Sponsor title in the message forum.

People making donations at the Silver Sponsor level:

1. feel great about themselves; and
2. have their donation recorded on our special thanks page.

People making donations at the Bronze Sponsor level:

1. feel good about themselves; and
2. have their donation recorded on our special thanks page.

Donations can currently be made in one of two different ways.

1. On the main page and at the bottom of every page in the Pivot Support Forum there are links to PayPal® which allow people to easily make their donation using their bank account or credit card. PayPal® enables any business or consumer with an email address to securely, conveniently, and cost-effectively send and receive payments online. Information on all aspects of security and privacy can be seen at their Security Center.

2. We realize that not everyone has access to a credit card. For that reason we also accept donations by conventional mail and bank transfer. If you would like the postal address or bank transfer details please contact us directly at donate [at] pivotlog [dot] net.
